About me

In short…

My story

An experienced communications specialist, I worked both client and agencyside, for blue-chip organisations and won awards for campaigns in the Media Innovator Awards, ARDA, and PRide.

I was nominated for a prestigious CIPR Excellence Award for Outstanding Independent Practitioner in 2017 and was also been part of the judging panel for both the CIPR national Excellence and regional PRide awards.

As a respected journalist, under the pen-name CAT, my words have appeared extensively in offline press, online media, and radio. I’ve hosted weekly  radio shows on a number of national stations, recorded voiceovers for radio jingles and sweepers, and podcast introductions.

My podcast series CATtales is broadcast internationally and has been nominated for awards in the People’s Choice Podcast Awards, British Podcast Awards, and Quill Podcast Awards.

I have also written, edited, and contributed to a number of published books as well as tutoring for educational establishments including Lincoln University and Cambridge Marketing College, where I am also a Fellow.

And what better place to use all these skills for the good of people, than as a celebrant officiating weddings, naming, and funeral services?

So, I studied with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and qualified as a funeral celebrant to the highest possible standard. Since then, I have also become a Celebrant Plus through the revolutionary Coffin Club so am now equipped to help you provide any type of Celebrant of Life for your loved one.

Love is like a butterfly, it’s soft and gentle as a sigh, the multicoloured moods of love are like its satin wings. Love makes your heart feel strange inside, it flutters like soft wings in flight, love is like a butterfly, a rare and gentle thing.” – Dolly Parton
