My approach

Every funeral I officiate is a privilege.

I hope to be a comforting support to help you through the most difficult of days, from our first conversation to the final farewell. We’ll take our time, have a gentle chat about your loved one so I can learn all about them, hear their life stories, and understand their wishes.

After our initial meeting, I will write a bespoke funeral service, incorporating the perfect poem, reading, passage, or even prayer, if appropriate. I can suggest music for the processional and recessional as well as helping you choose the perfect piece for reflection or a visual tribute.

And, if you want to add other significant parts to the service from singing to dancing, or a symbolic element such as laying a favourite flower on the coffin, lighting candles or even releasing doves or butterflies, I can arrange that too.

Whatever you feel is appropriate usually is.
